The Adam Lasher Band and Melissa Dawn Taylor will be performing at the Partying for a Purpose Ooh La La Party at the Playboy Mansion  !  This will be an AMAZING performance by these talented artists!

Melissa Dawn Taylor was born and raised in Southern Oregon. From an early age she enjoyed singing, songwriting and playing guitar. After moving to Southern California,  she became a hostess for Partying for a Purpose and was body painted at the Playboy Mansion. After,  a modeling job brought her back to the Playboy Mansion where she became close with Hugh Hefner and friends. Melissa became a Playboy Cyber Girl model in the second week of November 2009. She can be seen in the 6th season of the E! reality series, The Girl’s Next Door. Melissa is now actively doing club appearances, promotions and pursuing her career in singing, songwriting, modeling and acting.  She is currently recording her first album.  She was also the Host of last year’s Partying for a Purpose Lucky 7 at the Playboy Mansion and helped present Mr. Hugh Hefner with the “Taking Care of Business Award”.

At the Lucky 7 Party at the Playboy Mansion on August 21, 2010, The Adam Lasher Band  performed “Taking Care of Business” for the legendary Hugh Hefner after he accepted the “Taking Care of Business Award”!  They then continued with their original music.  What an incredible NIGHT!  The guys even joined DJ Scott Roberts on stage for a house music-rock jam session.  AMAZING!

The Adam Lasher Band is a Boston-based rock group that was formed in the summer of 2007 while attending Berkelee School of Music.

Guitarist/Singer/songwriter Adam Lasher of Northern California serves as the bands front man, the soulful groove/rock quintet has been performing throughout New England’s hippest venues – Now located in Los Angeles, CA. The band is creating a buzz with their fresh interpretations of classic and contemporary Soul, Rock, and Latin.

Adam is also the nephew of Rock Legend Carlos Santana.

The band’s members Brock Pollock on Bass , Enrique Lara on Drums and Jorge Reygadas on Keyboard are as equally diverse as they are talented. Each player brings an eclectic mix of musical backgrounds. This coupled with the exceptional songwriting and performing abilities of Adam Lasher, makes for a unique blend of Rock.
